Knowledge through writing

How is knowledge made through writing? By writing, information is passed, understood or even created. When someone reads an article that has been published by a legit source, they can be sure that what they are being told is the truth and has come from credible authors. Most scientific facts are just discoveries that have been made. Previous knowledge or intelligence gathered from the experiments or readings made before can enhance or alter the discoveries made. Knowledge can not be “made”. It is usually preexisting and is just found by understanding. Conclusions are just summaries of what we already know or an even deeper understanding of something under study.
